The Cholla Chargers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Catalina Trojans to 0 in the Chargers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Chargers now have a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tucson High Magnet School for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 6. Cholla will meet a Badgers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Sahuarita (Sahuarita, AZ). The Badgers record now stands at 2-1.
The Trojans (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Santa Rita (Tucson, AZ). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Santa Rita gained a win over Palo Verde (Tucson, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league game.
