California High School Volleyball - El Capitan edged by Nevada Union

The Nevada Union Miners volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host El Capitan Gauchos to 1 in the Miners non-league victory on Saturday.

The Miners now have a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shasta for a non-league game on Saturday, September 2. Nevada Union will confront a Wolves team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to El Capitan (Merced, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 7-3.

The Gauchos (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Atwater (Atwater, CA). The Falcons enter the Central California Conference game with a 10-5 record. In their last game, Atwater was nudged by Rio Americano (Sacramento, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
