California High School Volleyball - Piner can't hold off Eureka

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Eureka Loggers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Piner Prospectors.
The Loggers (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Petaluma (Petaluma, CA). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Petaluma nudged San Marin (Novato, CA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Prospectors clash with the Galileo Lions (San Francisco, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 2. Piner will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over The Academy - San Francisco (San Francisco, CA).
