The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Evanston Devils (Evanston, WY) and the host Murray Spartans (Murray, UT), saw Evanston's volleyball squad beat Murray by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Evanston upgrades its record to 7-6 on the year. The Devils travel to South Summit (Kamas, UT) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-1. South Summit won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain View (Mountain View, WY)

The Spartans now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Cottonwood for a 4A Region 10 bout on Tuesday, September 5. Murray will play a Colts squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Jordan (Sandy, UT). The Colts record now stands at 2-5.
