Arizona High School Volleyball - Holbrook tips Florence

September 2, 2023: Holbrook, AZ 86025

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Holbrook Roadrunners (Holbrook, AZ) and the visiting Florence Gophers (Florence, AZ), saw Holbrook's volleyball squad nip Florence by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Holbrook upgrades its record to 4-0 on the year. The Roadrunners host Chinle (Chinle, AZ) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Chinle won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Winslow (Winslow, AZ)

The Gophers now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to North Valley Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. Florence will play a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Page (Page, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 1-4.
