The Piner Prospectors volleyball team (Santa Rosa, CA), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Galileo Lions (San Francisco, CA)

The Lions (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln (San Francisco, CA). The Mustangs enter the Academic Athletic Association challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln nipped Westmoor (Daly City, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Prospectors encounter the Analy Tigers (Sebastopol, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 14. Piner will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record.
