The North Valley Christian Academy Lions volleyball team scored 1 points and limited the host Globe Tigers to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Saturday.

The Lions now have a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Tan Foothills for a non-league game on Saturday, September 2. North Valley Christian Academy will confront a Sabercats team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Arizona Lutheran Academy (Phoenix, AZ). The Sabercats record now stands at 0-4.

The Tigers (0-5) will now prepare for their game against San Carlos (San Carlos, AZ). The Braves enter the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, San Carlos was nudged by Morenci (Morenci, AZ), 1-0, in a non-league game.
