Iowa High School Volleyball - Jefferson Gretna East

September 2, 2023: Council Bluffs, IA 51501

The Jefferson Yellowjackets volleyball team (Council Bluffs, IA), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Gretna East Griffins (Gretna, NE)

The Griffins (11-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Harlan (Harlan, IA). The Cyclones come into the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Harlan defeated Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Yellowjackets encounter the Stanton Vikings (Stanton, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 2. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Sidney (Sidney, IA).
