The Pekin Dragons topped the host Lanphier Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Dragons now have a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dunlap for a Mid-Illini test on Tuesday, September 5. Pekin will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Normal West (Normal, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 6-2.
The Lions (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Pawnee (Pawnee, IL). The Indians enter the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Pawnee gained a win over Litchfield (Litchfield, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
