In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Tremont Turks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Lewistown Indians.

The Turks (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL). The Chiefs come into the Heart of Illinois battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Deer Creek-Mackinaw achieved victory over Aurora East (Aurora, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Indians encounter the Unity Christian Lions (Decatur, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 2. Lewistown will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL).
