The Lincoln County Patriots volleyball team (Stanford, KY), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY)

The Cardinals (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY). The Colonels enter the District 50 challenge with a 9-0 record. In their last challenge, Whitley County defeated Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots meet the Boyle County Rebels (Danville, KY) in a District 45 challenge, on Saturday, September 2. Lincoln County will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Rebels enter the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY).
