The Trinity Chargers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Marfa Shorthorns to 0 in the Chargers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Chargers now possess a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Temple Christian for a TAPPS 3A District 1 game on Friday, September 8.
The Shorthorns (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Kermit (Kermit, TX). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league game with a 0-10 record. In their last game, Kermit was dropped by Brownfield (Brownfield, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
