Illinois High School Volleyball - North Central over Martinsville

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the North Central Thunderbirds (Farmersburg, IN) and the host Martinsville Bluestreaks (Martinsville, IL), saw North Central's volleyball squad beat Martinsville by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, North Central upgrades its record to 4-8 on the year. The Thunderbirds host West Vigo (West Terre Haute, IN) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 6. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 2-7. West Vigo lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against North Putnam (Roachdale, IN)

The Bluestreaks now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Neoga for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 7. Martinsville will play a Indians squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Mattoon (Mattoon, IL). The Indians record now stands at 0-10.
