Wisconsin High School Volleyball - Merrill tips Tomahawk

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Merrill Bluejays (Merrill, WI) and the host Tomahawk Hatchets (Tomahawk, WI), saw Merrill's volleyball squad nip Tomahawk by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Merrill upgrades its record to 11-5 on the year. The Bluejays travel to Newman (Wausau, WI) to play the Fighting Cardinals in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. The Fighting Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Newman won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Wausau West (Wausau, WI)

The Hatchets now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to D.C. Everest for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. Tomahawk will play a Evergreens squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Wausau West (Wausau, WI). The Evergreens record now stands at 7-5.
