The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Sand Rock Wildcats (Leesburg, AL) and the host Oneonta Redskins (Oneonta, AL), saw Sand Rock's volleyball squad nip Oneonta by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Sand Rock upgrades its record to 11-5 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Decatur (Decatur, AL) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Decatur lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against New Hope (New Hope, AL)

The Redskins now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Locust Fork for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5.
