The Stanton Vikings (Stanton, IA) volleyball tipped the visiting Red Oak Tigers (Red Oak, IA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Stanton upgrades its record to 11-4 on the year. The Vikings host Bedford (Bedford, IA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 7. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 5-2.
The Tigers now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Glenwood for a Hawkeye Ten outing on Sunday, September 3. Red Oak will face a Rams squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Gretna (Gretna, NE). The Rams record now stands at 11-4.
