The Torres Toros topped the host Tournament Opponent volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Toros now have a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roosevelt for a CMAC/NYL test on Tuesday, September 5. Torres will confront a Rough Riders team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Orange Cove (Orange Cove, CA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 2-5.

The (29-102) will now prepare for their test against Trenton (Trenton, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 12-11 record. In their last test, Trenton gained a win over Ector (Ector, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
