Hermitage Panthers (Richmond, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Highland Springs Springers (Highland Springs, VA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA). The Jaguars come into the Colonial challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Glen Allen beat Thomas Dale (Chester, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Springers face the Clover Hill Cavaliers (Midlothian, VA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 4. Highland Springs will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Cavaliers go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 3-2 league loss to Monacan (Richmond, VA).
