Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs (Franklin, IN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Perry Meridian Falcons (Indianapolis, IN), 2-1 in a league challenge.

The Grizzly Cubs (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bloomington South (Bloomington, IN). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Falcons play the Plainfield Quakers (Plainfield, IN) in a game, on Tuesday, September 9. Perry Meridian will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Quakers go into the game with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Cascade (Clayton, IN).
