In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Methuen Rangers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Mansfield Hornets.

The Rangers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Sharon (Sharon, MA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.

The Hornets now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to King Philip Regional for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3.
