In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Menlo-Atherton Bears volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Menlo School Knights.

The Bears (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Fightin' Irish go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory was defeated by Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Knights now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harker for a test on Tuesday, September 30.
