California High School Flag Football - Pittsburg can't hold off Berkeley

The Berkeley Yellowjackets got by the host Pittsburg Pirates flag football team by a score of 12-6 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets play the Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA) in a West Alameda County challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Berkeley will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Trojans go into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 18-12 non-league win over Oakland Tech (Oakland, CA).

The Pirates (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Freedom (Oakley, CA). The Falcons come into the test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Freedom was nipped by Liberty (Brentwood, CA), 27-0, in a non-league test.
