Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the La Salle Institute Cadets (Troy, NY) and the host Lansingburgh Knights (Troy, NY), saw La Salle Institute's soccer squad triumph over Lansingburgh by a count of 10-2.

The Cadets (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY). The Warriors enter the Colonial Council match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Mohonasen achieved victory over Academy of the Holy Names (Albany, NY), 6-0, in a league match.

The Knights now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Voorheesville for a Colonial Council match on Thursday, September 4. Lansingburgh will meet a Blackbirds team coming off a 3-0 league win over Albany Academy (Albany, NY). The Blackbirds record now stands at 1-0.
