New Hartford Spartans (New Hartford, NY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Marcellus Mustangs (Marcellus, NY), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, New Hartford improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Spartans travel to Bayport-Blue Point (Bayport, NY) to confront the Phantoms in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. The Phantoms go into the outing with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Beekmantown Eagles (Plattsburgh, NY) in a non-league outing, on Sunday, September 7. Marcellus will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
