Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Richfield Wildcats (Richfield, UT) and the host Union Cougars (Roosevelt, UT), saw Richfield's soccer squad knock off Union by a count of 2-0.

The Wildcats (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Providence Hall (Herriman, UT). The Patriots enter the 3A Region 14 battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Providence Hall tipped South Sevier (Monroe, UT), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Manti Templars (Manti, UT) in a 3A Region 13 match, on Thursday, September 4. Union will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Templars come into the match with a 5-2 record after their 1-1 non-league American Heritage (American Fork, UT).
