In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Albuquerque Academy Chargers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Sandia Matadors.

The Chargers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Los Alamos nudged Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM), 2-1, in a non-league game.

The Matadors (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Huskies go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Hope Christian nudged Moriarty (Moriarty, NM), 2-0, in a non-league game.
