The Gray's Creek Bears volleyball team (Hope Mills, NC), was tipped 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC)

The Patriots (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Western Harnett tipped Lee County (Sanford, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Bears now own a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pine Forest for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. Gray's Creek will meet a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Heritage (Wake Forest, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 0-6.
