Mechanicsville Mustangs (Mechanicsville, VA) boosters were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting King George Foxes (King George, VA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against King William (King William, VA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last test, King William was edged by Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Foxes now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northumberland for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6.
