Redeemer Christian Lions (Ocala, FL) boosters were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Peniel Baptist Academy Warriors (Palatka, FL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Countryside Christian (Gainesville, FL). The Minutemen come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Countryside Christian beat Saint Francis Catholic Academy (Gainesville, FL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors face the Saint Francis Catholic Academy Wolves (Gainesville, FL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 4. Peniel Baptist Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Wolves go into the game with a 3-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Oak Hall (Gainesville, FL).
