University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Redding Christian Lions (Palo Cedro, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Willows (Willows, CA). The Honkers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Willows was beaten by Orland (Orland, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions face the Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 9. Redding Christian will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record.
