New Hampshire High School Soccer - Belmont nudges Sanborn Regional

In Tuesday's league outing, the host Belmont Red Raiders soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Sanborn Regional Indians.

The Red Raiders (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Mascoma (Canaan, NH). The Royals come into the Division III test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Mascoma was tipped by Newfound Regional (Bristol, NH), 3-1, in a league test.

The Indians now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Thomas Aquinas for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Sanborn Regional will clash with a Saints team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Prospect Mountain (Alton, NH). The Saints record now stands at 1-0.
