With the triumph, Central Christian moves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Waynedale (Apple Creek, OH) to clash with the Golden Bears in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Golden Bears come into the test with a record of 2-5.

The Tiger now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Memorial for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. Lake Center Christian will clash with a Red Devils squad coming off a 3-0 league win over LaBrae (Leavittsburg, OH). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-1.
