Roeper Roughriders (Birmingham, MI) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their soccer squad prevail over the visiting Clarenceville Trojans (Livonia, MI), 5-1 in a non-league outing.

The Roughriders (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lutheran Northwest (Rochester Hills, MI). The Crusaders go into the Michigan Independent - Blue outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Lutheran Northwest by Shrine Catholic (Royal Oak, MI), 5-0, in a non-league outing.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Hope Christian Academy Hawks (Westland, MI) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 4. Clarenceville will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Hawks come into the test with a 2-2 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Taylor Prep (Taylor, MI).
