In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host De Smet Jesuit Spartans soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 win over the Hickman Kewpies.

The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL). The Crusaders enter the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Althoff Catholic nipped Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL), 7-0, in a non-league test.

The Kewpies now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Fort Zumwalt South for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6.
