The Fox Chapel Foxes soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Deer Lakes Lancers to 2 in the Foxes non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Foxes now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pine-Richland for a WPIAL AAAA 1 bout on Thursday, September 4. Fox Chapel will play a Rams squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA). The Rams record now stands at 2-1.
The Lancers (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Highlands (Natrona Heights, PA). The Golden Rams come into the WPIAL AA 2 game with a 0-0 record.
