In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Olympic Trojans soccer squad scored a tight 4-2 victory over the East Mecklenburg Eagles.
The Trojans (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Vikings go into the Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Central Cabarrus by Piedmont (Monroe, NC), 4-0, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mooresville for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. East Mecklenburg will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-4.
