Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Forest Park Rangers (Ferdinand, IN) and the visiting Evansville Day Eagles (Evansville, IN), saw Forest Park's soccer squad hold off Evansville Day by a count of 2-1.
The Rangers (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Southridge (Huntingburg, IN). The Raiders enter the Pocket battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Southridge tipped North Posey (Poseyville, IN), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Eagles battle the Owensboro Catholic Aces (Owensboro, KY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 6. Evansville Day will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Aces enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 1-1 league Daviess County (Owensboro, KY).
