Great Crossing Warhawks (Georgetown, KY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Franklin County Flyers (Frankfort, KY), 4-0 in a league outing.

The Warhawks (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Ryle (Union, KY). The Raiders go into the non-league outing with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, Ryle got by Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY), 2-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Flyers play the Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 4. Franklin County will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Indians go into the outing with a 5-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Frederick Douglass (Lexington, KY).
