The Grafton Bearcats soccer squad scored 8 points and held the host Lincoln Cougars to 0 in the Bearcats league victory on Tuesday.
The Bearcats now possess a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Marion for a Big Ten game on Thursday, September 4. Grafton will face a Huskies team coming off a 2-2 league East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV). The Huskies record now stands at 1-1.
The Cougars (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Elkins (Elkins, WV). The Tigers come into the non-league game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Elkins defeated Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV), 1-0, in a league game.
