The Westchester Country Day Wildcats soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Hickory Christian Academy Knights to 1 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now have a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill for a non-league game on Friday, September 5. Westchester Country Day will face a Lion team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Thales Academy Rolesville (Rolesville, NC). The Lion record now stands at 5-0.

The Knights (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Westminster Catawba Christian held off Gaston Christian (Gastonia, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.
