Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the HOPE Academy Royals (Concord, NC) and the visiting The Fletcher School Falcons (Charlotte, NC), saw HOPE Academy's soccer squad triumph over The Fletcher School by a score of 8-0.

The Royals (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Carolina Christian (Locust, NC). The Lions enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Carolina Christian ran past Victory Christian Academy (Gastonia, NC), 7-3, in a league battle.

In their next game, the Falcons meet the Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 5. The Fletcher School will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 0-5 record after their 10-0 league loss to Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC).
