Jacksonville Cardinals (Jacksonville, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC), 3-1 in a non-league outing.

The Cardinals (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, New Hanover got by J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC), 3-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Warriors play the Nash Central Bulldogs (Rocky Mount, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, September 3. Hunt will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 0-5 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Northern Nash (Rocky Mount, NC).
