Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the North Boone Vikings (Poplar Grove, IL) and the visiting Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL), saw North Boone's soccer squad knock off Lutheran by a count of 4-2.

The Vikings (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Oregon (Oregon, IL). The Hawks enter the Big Northern battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Oregon tipped Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL), 4-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Crusaders confront the Winnebago Indians (Winnebago, IL) in a Big Northern battle, on Wednesday, September 3. Lutheran will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 6-2 league win over Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL).
