Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Owen Valley Patriots (Spencer, IN) and the host Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN), saw Owen Valley's soccer squad triumph over Mitchell by a count of 6-1.

The Patriots (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Edgewood (Ellettsville, IN). The Mustangs enter the Western Indiana battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Edgewood was overwhelmed by Cascade (Clayton, IN), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Bluejackets battle the Bloomfield Cardinals (Bloomfield, IN) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 4. Mitchell will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Cardinals come into the match with a 0-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Washington Catholic (Washington, IN).
