The Goldbacks (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Kingston (Kingston, NY). The Tigers go into the Section 9 Division I outing with a 2-0 record.

The Vikings now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Middletown for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Valley Central will clash with a Middie Bears team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY). The Middie Bears record now stands at 0-2.
