In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Obama Academy of International Studies Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Penn Hills Indians.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Armstrong (Kittanning, PA). The River Hawks go into the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Armstrong was edged by Freeport (Freeport, PA), 4-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Indians confront the Gateway Gators (Monroeville, PA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 4. Penn Hills will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Gators go into the outing with a 0-3 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA).
