The Sauk Prairie Eagles soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting Stoughton Vikings to 0 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DeForest for a non-league game on Thursday, September 4. Sauk Prairie will face a Norskies team coming off a 3-0 league win over Monona Grove (Monona, WI). The Norskies record now stands at 3-0.
The Vikings (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Beaver Dam (Beaver Dam, WI). The Golden Beavers enter the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Beaver Dam was overwhelmed by Waunakee (Waunakee, WI), 5-1, in a league challenge.
