The McDonald County Mustangs softball squad (Anderson, MO), was routed 13-8 in Tuesday's non-league bout with the visiting Carl Junction Bulldogs (Carl Junction, MO)

The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Cassville (Cassville, MO). The Wildcats go into the Class 3 District 12 bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Cassville was routed by Marshfield (Marshfield, MO), 14-2, in a non-league contest.

The Mustangs now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Joplin for a Class 4 District 12 test on Thursday, September 4.
