The Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) softball the visiting South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA), 6-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Lions now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harris County for a 4A Region 3 test on Thursday, September 4. Central will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 18-0 league win over Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-3.

The Spartans (3-8) will now prepare for their test against North Paulding (Dallas, GA). The Wolfpack go into the non-league test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, North Paulding held off North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA), 3-2, in a league test.
