Missouri High School Softball - Lafayette bounces St. Joseph's Academy

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Lafayette Lancers (Wildwood, MO) and the visiting St. Joseph's Academy Angels (St. Louis, MO), observed Lafayette's softball team prevail over St. Joseph's Academy by a tally of 16-1.
The Lancers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Howell Central (St. Charles, MO). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
The Angels now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. Dominic for a non-league contest on Thursday, September 4. St. Joseph's Academy will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Winfield (Winfield, MO). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-2.
